Allgo Engineering Acquisition and Capability Upgrade
H-E Parts announced today that they have acquired Allgo Engineering (Allgo). Although occurring in late 2018, H-E Parts has deferred announcement to facilitate the completion of a new 100 tonne facility and the upgrading of equipment and machining capabilities which will allow Allgo to handle some of the largest mining, marine and oil & gas components required by the Western Australian market.
The multi-million dollar facility upgrade incorporates 100 tonne lifting capacity as well as the following new pieces of equipment:
- Vertical lathe which can swing up to 8m in diameter
- Horizontal lathe that can turn, mill and grind jobs up to 11m in length
- Multiple floor borers which can be used for heavy duty, general milling work
H-E Parts service teams comprise of manufacturing, engineering, off-site workshop repairs, on-site service functions, specialize in minerals processing and handling applications and are dedicated to increased safety, efficiency and risk prevention. The ability to provide large scale machining capabilities ensure that all fixed plant service work can be completed in house, providing our customers with a single source product and service solution.
Gordon Fogwill, H-E Parts Crushing Solutions Vice President stated that “the Crushing Solutions division is renowned for their ability to extend and optimize mineral processing systems through consistent service performance and the ability to provide specialist crusher technicians, whether working on workshop component rebuilds or onsite shutdowns. The ability to conduct in-house machining will allow H-E Parts to fully manage some of the largest component rebuilds for our customers, such as crusher heads and bowls, adjustment rings and shafts.”
